I'm planning on implementing some Javascript on the website to make it look better. The main thing that's holding my back is the time I would need to learn it. School at the moment has be pretty booked so I'm not sure when I'll get around to it, but it'll definitely be there one of these days!
I wouldn't say you need to learn it nessisarily. Most of the Javascript I find and use is just copy-paste code from DynamicDrive. I do suggest you read the first couple or so pages of W3School's JavaScript tutorial to get an idea of what it does and how to use it, but you don't need to know how to type JavaScript from scratch.
